Medical Interests

For the last 25 years, Dr. Luffey has invested his time in training new physicians, as well as in the development of new drugs and devices to advance the field ophthalmology. He also consults with the world’s largest eye care products manufacturer and is a member of one of the oldest cataract training programs in the United States. Dr. Luffey provides routine eye care, LASIK eye surgery, and specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of numerous ophthalmologic disorders including astigmatism, near/far sightedness, cataracts, corneal diseases, double vision, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and glaucoma. His office is currently accepting new patients.

Community Involvement

Dr. Luffey participates with and supports DART and the Men Standing Tall program and is an outspoken advocate for the most vulnerable of our population.

Personal Interests

When not serving the residents of North Louisiana, you can find him fishing with his grandson or working alongside his wife, Jan, on their Lincoln Parish farm.
