Access and availability are extremely important to Dr. Novakovich's practice. He makes every effort to see patients in a timely fashion. He understands the frustrations associated with being kept waiting so he makes every effort for his patients to be seen accordingly.
In addition, Dr. Novakovich is very conservative in his approach to treatment. If he feels as though a patient can be effectively treated without surgery, he will almost always attempt non-operative treatment prior to going to the operating room. Typically, surgery comes when all other measures of treatment have proven ineffective.
Dr. Novakovich specializes in sports medicine and is well trained in all aspects of orthopaedic medicine. He evaluates and treats all musculoskeletal problems, whether it be foot/ankle injuries or carpal tunnel syndrome. Dr. Novakovich was selected for 1 of 4 fellowship positions at the Andrews Institute under the direction of Dr. James Andrews. Having also served as team assistant and team physician at the collegiate and professional athletic level, he offers a wide variety of experience and expertise in the field of orthopaedic speciality services. He is willing and able to take care of all your orthopaedic needs.

Dr. Novakovich is married to his wife, Stephanie. He enjoys travelling, playing music, and spending time with friends and family. He also enjoys cooking, hiking, and New Orleans Saints football.
